The Schaeffler Group’s FAG and Barden brands stand for the development and manufacture of special bearings for aviation and aerospace applications. These bearings help ensure that commercial airplanes are one of the safest means of transportation. Nearly all modern airplanes use FAG’s bearing technology. FAG Aerospace also took part in the development of the bearings and other precision components used in the engine of the new wide-body A380 Airbus.
